PROMPT Software is our fifth-generation piston and ring optimization environment, built to let senior engineers control cylinder kit performance before metal is ever cut. Working inside a familiar Excel framework, it evaluates more than forty geometric and operating variables, then delivers quantitative blowby and friction predictions with qualitative oil consumption guidance.

You gain a direct line of sight from design change to impact on oil control, reverse blowby, and ring friction. PROMPT Software includes validated combustion models and default datasets, so you can run credible studies even when prints or test data are incomplete. Two-piece and three-piece oil ring assemblies are treated explicitly, supporting realistic ring pack behavior.
